Jerry G. Gary, age 73, of Massillon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born November 30, 1944, in Wheeling, WV,  the son of   the late Samuel Gary and Stella Gary Dunn.
Jerry was a press operator and retired from Volvo in Orrville after 40+ years of service.
He volunteered at  numerous area church food pantries.  He liked to go camping and fishing and enjoyed bluegrass music.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 27 years Dianne (Dupont) Gary, daughter and son-in-law Connie Clark and Shawn Miller, son and daughter-in-law Robert and Stephanie Gary, brother Perry Dunn, sister Audrey McClure, granddaughters Ashley Gary, Mary Addy, grandsons Scott Bierie and John Allen Williams, and great-grandson Tristin Bierie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
There will be no services.
