Jerry R. Meskiel, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Youngstown on March 13, 1950 and had lived in Jackson Twp. until recently moving to Alliance.

He was a salesman for Park Acura and belonged to the Alliance Elks. He was a former member of Shady Hollow Country Club and enjoyed playing cards and old movies.

He is survived by his son Jonathan Meskiel of Jackson Twp., daughter Jillian Meskiel of Sammamish, WA, brother Jack Meskiel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sister Joan Newman of St. Louis, MO, mother Rosemary Meskiel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and life long best friend Madeline (Andello) Meskiel of Jackson Twp.

He was preceded in death by his father John F. Meskiel.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon, with Fr. Brian Cline officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
