Joan L. Bricker, age 84, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

She was born July 31, 1941, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Clarence and Doris (Schott) Rohr.

Joan retired from the Hoover Company after over 30 years of service.

She was a 1960 graduate of Canton Central Catholic and was a member of Divine Mercy - St. Mary's. Joan enjoyed playing cards, and also enjoyed playing golf with her late husband, Ronald, and friends.

Joan is survived by her son, Jeffery (Lori) Bricker; step-daughters, Ronel (Tom Beichler) Falk, Rondi Downey, Tara (Jim) Deese, Ronda West (Dave Hurt); brother, Vernon Rohr; sisters, Janice Lillo and Marge (Walt) Hoffman; grandchildren, Dean (Hilary) Bricker, Brittany Anthony, Tiffany Slutz (Kevin Nguyen); eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws, Gail Rohr and Sue (Tom) Hohenshil; brother-in-law, Bob Bricker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins ; and special friends, Daniel and Shirley Storch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Bricker; and brothers, Joseph and Donald Rohr.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - MASSILLON CHAPEL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11 A.M. at Divine Mercy - St. Mary's Campus.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital
