Joan E. Paugh, age 78,  of Jackson Twp., passed away Friday, January 26, 2018.
She was born July 31, 1939 in Canton, daughter of the late Raymond and Ada (Weyand) Emery.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Joan is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ray Paugh, son Gary Paugh of Canton, son and daughter-in-law David and Ileana Paugh of Washington D.C., daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Howard Daily of North Lawrence, grandchildren Sarah (Jeremy) Smith, Carmen (Todd) Barkman and Blane Paugh, great-granddaughter Aubrey Barkman and a future great-granddaughter.
The family would like to thank Rose Lane Nursing Home and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care of their mom and grandmother.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
