Joan L. Pratt, age 77, of Massillon, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at Laurels of Massillon. She was born January 22, 1948, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Lee and Dorothy (Hoffman) Pratt. Joan attained her masters degree in education from Kent State University. Joan retired from Washington High School where she taught English. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Mary's Campus where she sang in the choir.  Joan also belonged to the Massillon Woman's Club. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was a world traveler. Joan is survived by four cousins. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Mary's Campus. Burial to follow the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
