Joe Dawson VanNostran, age 73, of Jackson Twp. passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1945 in Canton, the son of the late Jon and Dorothy (Pettit) VanNostran. Joe worked at St. Luke Lutheran Community Portage Lakes where he was an administrator. He was a 46 year member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God. "We pour our hearts into the things we love on this Earth, and when we are gone they become our legacy." Joe is survived by his wife, Sharee VanNostran; daughter, Stacee (John) Remlinger; son, Drew VanNostran; siblings, Greg (Mindi) VanNostran and Cathy VanNostran; grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Jordan, Cole, Sophee; in-laws, Joyce (Henry) Evans, Darlene (Floyd) Rohrer, Rick (Nancy) Kopf; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Thursday,  December 27, 2018 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 3951 Fulton Dr NW, Canton, OH 44718 at 6pm with Rev. Brad Myers officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5pm to 6pm at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in Joe's name may be made to Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
