John W. Fick, age 78 of Canton, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
He was born July 13, 1941, in  Canton, son of the  late Walter J. and Mary (Weigand) Fick.
John retired from the Timken Company after 40 years of service.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
John is survived by wife of 58 years, Patricia A. (Martin) Fick; children, John (Danita) Fick, Catherine Fick, Trish (David) Day, Brian (Ann) Fick, Kevin Fick; brothers, Donald (Sharon) Fick and Michael (Kathy) Fick; sisters, Mary (Jeff) Dawson, Joanne Kurtz, and Eilene (Manley)George; grandchildren, Jon and Chris Day, Jason, Joshua and Jeremy Fick; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7920 Frank Ave NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
