John William Price III of Canal Fulton has crossed over to a new life on Sept., 29, 2015 at age 49.  He came to this earth on July 8, 1966 in Akron, Ohio.  His proud parents are John W. Price Jr. and Marianne M. (Pappano) Price of Massillon, Ohio.

Much of his life was shared with his sister, Leanne M. Price and fiancée, Chris Weihl, including special nephews, Jackson and Ranger Adair, residing in Marietta, Ohio.

John's was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Fred and Maxine Pappano, John and Phyllis Price, and his sweet niece, Sophia Rain Adair, who crossed over in 2010 at the age of four.

His journey through life was shared by his extended family Kevin and Cathy Price, cousins Mathew and Joseph Price, Dick and Judy Abrams, cousins Jim Wormald, Michael Wormald, and Susan Roy, and their spouses and children, Uncle Russell Wormald, Uncle Bill and Debbi Pappano, Aunt Rose Pappano, cousins Toni (Steve) Campbell, Bill and Gina Pappano, and their children.

His life was brightened by many close lifelong friends, including his fellow students in the Lake Local Schools.  He would bring cheer to everyone he met.  Through all his 50 plus surgeries, he was always positive and somehow bounced back with a smile.

John's life was not slowed in any way.  He drove and wheeled through life gaining enjoyment in sharing his positive attitude through extensive involvement with others.  John left home at age 18 to gain his independent life in his various apartments and houses in The Villages, Florida, Kent, Uniontown, and Canton, Ohio.  His four-legged friends Pogo, Walter, and Barney will enjoy him in his new life.

And what did John enjoy for 49 years?  STEELERS FOOTBALL, shopping at the Goodwill, eating lobster on cruise ships, and traveling the USA.  He would bring cheer to everyone he met.

We would want to thank all the people from The Ohio Home Care who made it possible for John to live at home.  Also a special thanks to Akron General VNS-Hospice Center for their  gracious, loving care.

John was a lifetime member of the Catholic faith.  Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel with Fr. David Durkee  officiant.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

We will be seeing John again in his special places.  Continue on John!

In lieu of  flowers memorials may be made to the care of the family to be dispersed to John's favorite charities.

A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a future date and time.  Please RSVP as suggested on the back of the card received at the funeral home.
