John S. Schier age 87, of Hudson, Ohio, and formerly of Pepper Pike, passed away on April 17, 2011.

He was VP of IPS and retired in 1994. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Army Air Corp.

John is survived by daughters Betsy (Steven) Rathjen of Centreville, VA, and Sally (Mitchell) Hathaway of Jackson Twp., grandchildren Nate and Jamie Rathjen and Zachary, Adam, and Daniel Hathaway.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joellyn Schier who died Dec. 18, 2002.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 2:00pm at Laurel Lake 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
