John R. Strickland Jr., age 89 of Jackson Township, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1935, in Widen, WV, the son of the late John and Garnet (McCombs) Strickland.
John retired from Roadway Express, Inc. where he was a pricing coordinator for many years.
John is survived by two sons, David (Holly) Strickland, Dale (Debi) Strickland; grandchildren, Heather (Sean) Davies, Joshua Strickland, Anthony (Kayleigh) Strickland, and Aaron (Alyssa) Strickland; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Frances Kay Strickland and sister, Ruth Strickland.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
His final place of rest will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Seville.
