John P. Wadian, age 92, of Jackson Twp., died Sunday, November 25, 2012.

He was born July 23, 1920, in Massillon and was the son of the late George and and Elizabeth (Morariu.) Wadian.

He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Army. John had worked for the Eaton Corporation and enjoyed gardening in his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Goldie (Forrer) Wadian of Jackson Twp., son Brian Wadian and granddaughter Maggie Wadian of Louisville, brothers Jim Wadian, Carl Wadian of Massillon, and sister Margie Martin of Massillon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and daughter-in-law Sarah (Starkey) Wadian.

Calling hours will be held Wed., Nov. 28, 2012 from 5-7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St. N.E., Massillon.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
