Joyce Ann Miller, age 77 of Jackson Twp., passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

She was born September 29, 1935 in Fairpoint, Ohio, the daughter of the late Teofil J. and Jennie (Barchiski) Milarcik.

Joyce retired in 2000 from Jackson High School where she was a school monitor for many years. Previously she had worked for F.W. Arnold Insurance.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed swimming, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gilbert Miller; daughters and sons-in-law, Monica Miller Marsh & Jeff Marsh of Boston Heights, Marsha Miller-Dillman & Robert Dillman of Wisconsin; sister, Arlene (Peter) Angelonides of Novato, CA; nephew, John Angelonides of California; niece, Jennifer Frey of California; grandchildren, Paul, Adam, and Angelika Marsh.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. John Tully celebrant.

Burial will be at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Hospice Program, Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Av. NW, Canton, OH 44708 or your favorite local YMCA.
