K. Dale DeVault, age 74, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his residence in Massillon surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 18, 1936, in Barton, Ohio, the son of the late William Kennard and Mary Louise (Abraham) DeVault.

Dale retired from Boyle Midway Division of American Home Products after 25 years as a mechanic.

He was a graduate of Washington High Class of 1955, a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, St. Barb's Social group and choir; a volunteer at the Knights of Columbus Soup Kitchen and a former member of the Elks; and he enjoyed fishing.

He was a veteran of Navy and Marine Corps.

Dale is survived by wife Agnes C. (Maurer) Kennedy-DeVault, son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Andrea DeVault of Alliance.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet (Bucy) DeVault and one brother, Roger DeVault.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 24 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, with a prayer vigil at 5:45 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way West, Massillon on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Cebula.

Burial at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
