Kathleen M. Riesterer, age 79 of Massillon died on Monday, Oct 24, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born April 27, 1932 in Wilmot, Ohio and was daughter of the late Archie and Anna (Nicewander) Bair.

She is survived by daughters Susan (Michael) Mathey of Winona, Ohio and Anna (William) King of Massillon, sons Edward A. Riesterer of Cheyenne, WY, and Victor E. Riesterer of Navarre, brothers Charles (Marilyn) Bair of Beach City and Norman (Carol) Bair of Massillon, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Leo Riesterer who died Feb. 6, 1998 and a granddaughter Jessica Mathey.

Visitation will be held at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 10 to 11 A.M.

Funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with Rev. Julia Wertz officiating. Interment will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
