Kathleen M. Keefer, age 97, a life resident of Jackson Twp.,  passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Compassionate Care Center with her loving family at her side. She was born July 26, 1923, in Massillon the daughter of the late Raymond and Icele (Grossman) Singer. Kathleen was a secretary and retired from Arthritis Foundation after 15 years of service. She was very interested in current events and was an avid reader. Kathleen was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Her family meant everything to her. Kathleen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Ken and Judi Keefer of Jackson Twp., daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Larry Rohrig of Jackson Twp., grandchildren; Kyle Rohrig and Taylor Rohrig, Joshua, Justin and Emma Keefer.   She will be dearly missed by her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Dale Keefer who died in 1972, sister; Jean Easterly and brother; Robert Singer. Masks are required for attending services as well as social distancing. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11 :00 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave., N.W., Massillon, Ohio.  Rev. David Tebbs will officiate. Burial to follow the service at  Sunset Hills Memorial Park, North Canton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospice.
