Kathleen Mary Spidell, age 80, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Amherst Meadows Nursing Home.

She was born January 7, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Irvin and Bertha (Loch) Yost. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sister Geraldine Barbara Jean Yost who died in 2008.

She had worked for the former Massillon Rubber and more recently York School. Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Frederick; sons, William Spidell of Jackson Twp., Paul (Cathy) Spidell of Jackson Twp., John and James Spidell both of Massillon; daughter, Mary Jane Spidell of Massillon; brother, Eugene Yost and sister, Beverly Miller both of Jackson Twp., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 28, 2011 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 AM with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sisters of Divine Providence, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
