Kenneth R. Rankin, age 75 of Jackson Township passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

He was born March 19, 1947 in Dennison the son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Ferrell) Rankin.

Ken received his Bachelors of Science in Engineering and was a civil engineer for 50 years. He had worked for Goodyear in Akron and Eslich Wrecking in Louisville.

He was a Cub Scout Master, wrestling coach, and soccer coach. Ken enjoyed coordinating wrestling tournaments for Jackson High School. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kathryn (Crofut) Rankin; children, Scott Rankin, Jess (Lainie) Rankin, Julie Cobb, Christie (Matt) Timmons, Harmony (Mark) Mauser, Trevor (Jenn) Doll; daughter-in-law, JoAnna Rankin; siblings, Melody Royer, Tom (Toni) Rankin, Don (Jan) Rankin; and blessed with 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Rankin and brother-in-law, Ralph Royer.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Orchard Hill Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd, Clinton, OH from 10 AM to 11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM at the church with Paul Sarsany officiating.
