Leland "Jim" Lung, age 61 of Perry Twp., passed away on Sunday  November 27, 2016.
He was born in Canton, on August 5, 1955, son of the late Ralph J. and Beulah (Butler) Lung.
Jim was a veteran service in the U.S. Air Force.
He was  diesel mechanic teacher with Canton City School.  He retired from SARTA where he was a procurement officer.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Renee  L. (McFee) Lung, sons Doug (Beth) Gehring of Strasburg, Chris (Allison) Lung of Perry Twp., daughter Jill (Josh) Long of Medina, half-brother Don (Kathleen) Lung of N. Canton, half-sister Barb Haney of Canton and seven grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on  Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel with Dr. Patricia Long officiating.  Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial to follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
