Linda L. Border, 71 of Massillon passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1945 in Dover, the daughter of the late Harold and Lena (Sexton) Froman. Linda retired from Massillon State Hospital after 30 + years of service. She was a member of Bisel United Methodist Church in Dover.  Family was her life and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Border) Boughman, William (Denise) Border II, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Rieger, Patricia Faulhaber, Charlotte Miller; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William Border I (2005); siblings, Mabel Skaggs and Bill Froman. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE at 1:30pm with Pastor William Stuart officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will follow the service at Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon.
