Linda L. Berens, age 85, formerly of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, following an extended illness. She was born October 10, 1938, in Sunbury, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leon and Hilda (Dunn) Lutz.  She was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. Linda was a bookkeeper and retired from Horner Xpress in Naples, Florida. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, gardening, softball, and volleyball. Linda is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Robert Eicher and Wendy and David Rochester; daughter, Diana Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Bridget Berens; sister, Madeline Roth; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by former husband, Robert C. Berens; sons-in-laws, Richard E. Brown and Terry Hickman; and lifelong best-friend, Patricia Dickey-Crowley. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2 P.M. at Calvary Chapel, 8151 Stuhldreher St. N.W., Massillon, with Pastor Josh Pizor officiating. Calling hours will be held at church prior to the service from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 Eighth Ave., 16th Floor, NY, NY, 10001.
