Linda J. Hawkinberry Carr Mensch, 66 of Canton passed away February 4, 2014.

She was born August 21, 1947 in Morgantown, WV the daughter of the late Lonnie and Dessell (Vannoy) Hawkinberry.

Linda loved to knit, enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She loved to play bingo with her special family at Senior Living.

She survived a daughter, Kennetha, son, Jimmy; brothers, Ronnie (Elva) Hawkinberry, Robert (Marlyn) Hawkinberry, Glenn (Janet) Hawkinberry; sisters, Nelvie (Dale) Blosser, Mary Stout, Virginia (John) Moon, Louella (Gail) Weber; special extended family of Senior Living in Canton.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Catherine Kovach, Betty Woody, Opel Yerian, Ramona Simon; two brothers, Bill and Junior Hawkinberry.

Memorial services will be held February 15, 2014 at Heitger Funeral Service- Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, at Noon with Rev. Calvin Hamblin officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-noon prior to the service.
