Lloyd J. Bunnell of Jackson Township, age 74, passed away on April 11, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Wilsonburg, West Virginia, on January 11, 1943. Lloyd retired from Canton Drop Forge, as maintenance superintendent after 31 years of service. Lloyd enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Carrollton, where he enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with his wife and hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Toni Jo (Harbert) and children, Lloyd Robert Bunnell of Carrollton, Bryan (Dawn) Bunnell of Canton, and Melissa Bunnell of Jackson Township: five grandsons, three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Michael Bunnell; sister and brother-in-law, Madeline R. Roberts and Richard Wayne Roberts and brother, Charles Bunnell.

One day service and calling hours will be held Friday, April 14th at Heitger Funeral Home, 5850 Wales Ave NW, in Jackson Township. Friends may call 11 to 1pm with funeral services commencing at 1pm. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
