Louis B. Rich, 81, went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2012. He was born on March 27, 1930 in Canton, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (DeJulius) Rich. He worked at the Timken Company for thirty-nine years. He enjoyed attending breakfast once a month with his retired co-workers from the Timken Company, especially Dick Catazaro who would drive him every month.

He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church and United Steelworkers. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Coral (Hardwick) Rich, their four children L. Chris (Jenny) Rich, Joan Costello, Barbara Rich all of Massillon, Joseph of Canton, grandchildren Christopher, Leanne, Tiffany, Matthew, Kelly, Vince, and Coralmarie, great-grandchild Aiden, and brother Robert (Eunice) Rich of Canton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Larry and Ronald Rich.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
