Louise M. Kraus, age 77, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Rose Lane Care Facility. She was born May 16, 1948, in Cleveland the daughter of the late Lorand and Rita (Cottrell) Kiss. Louise worked at Massillon Community Hospital, Perry Family Practice, and Phoenix Rising, where she was an x-ray tech and worked in occupational health. Louise is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Craig Farrar; son, Jeff Kraus (Amanda); grandchildren, Sam, Ben (Audrey), and Sophie Farrar; one great-grandson, JJ Farrar; sister, Coletta August; niece, Laura (Michael) Hough; great-nephews, Brandon, Alex, Cameron, and Reilly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kraus. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2 to 3 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - MASSILLON CHAPEL, 639 First St. N.E., Massillon. Funeral service will follow beginning at 3 P.M. Her final place of rest will be Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
