Madonna F. Scheiring 92, formerly of The Villages, FL passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. Lukes Lutheran Community in North Canton.

She was born January 2, 1925 in New Bavaria, Ohio the daughter of the late Julian and Zedia Giesige.

Madonna resided most of her life in Canton, she graduated from Timken Vocational School in 1944.

She married Robert J. Scheiring, November 20, 1948 in St. Peter's Catholic Church of Canton.

She was employed at Stern and Manns of Belden Village, in the regency and bridal rooms.

Madonna is survived by three children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; son, Michael (Marcia) Scheiring of Lawrenceville, NJ; granddaughters, Dr. Kristy L. Jimenez of PA, Lauren M. Wexler of PA; son, Bradford (Nancy) Scheiring of Massillon, grandson, Brian S. Scheiring of Pittsburgh, PA, granddaughter, Lisa R. Scheiring of New York; daughter, Kathleen (James) Greenlese; grandson, Jared B. Greenlese all of North Canton; nieces, Carolyn McArthur of Louisville, Susan Waller of Canton; nephews, Martin of Newcomerstown, David, and Gerry Haas of Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Scheiring; and sister, Lillian Haas.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 241 S Main St, North Canton at 10am with Rev. James Clarke celebrant.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Heitger Funeral Home – Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, from 6pm to 8pm, and on Friday from 9am to 9:30am at the funeral home prior to the mass.
