Manuel Morales, age 94, of Massillon, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at The Gables of Canton. He was born May 14, 1931, in Youngstown the son of  the late Manuel Morales and Catherine (McGinnis) Morales - Schwartz. Manuel worked at MCA Sign and retired from Massillon Spring and Rivot. He loved fishing and sports.  He especially enjoyed football and was an avid Massillon Tiger Fan.  He went to every Massillon game, home and away for years. Manuel is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nancy (Kirven) Morales; son, Manuel (Kathy) Morales; daughters, Toni (Jim) Simon, Sally (Terry) Hoskinson, Tina (Duane) Marple, Cathy (Harvey) Lohr; sisters, Catherine Daughenbaugh and Virginia Pendelino; grandchildren, Amanda Hoskinson, Jimmy Simon, Andrea Lohr, Justin Morales, Katie Urwin, Lauren Lynn, Anthony Hoskinson, Joe Morales, Joe Lohr, and Nick Marple; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Haddad, Kolin Haddad, Savannah Urwin, Logan Urwin, Weston Lynn, Rogan Lynn, Peyton Hoskinson, Emma Morales, and Taylor Ann Morales. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cora Parnacott-Hershey, Margarite Morales, Mary Beitel, Blanche Baughman; and brother, Jim McGinnis. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Heitger Funeral Home  - MASSILLON CHAPEL from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home beginning at 11 A.M. Burial to follow the service in Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Elara Hospice.
