Mardell Margaret Maser, age 85 of Jackson Twp, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

She was born November 2, 1927 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Ivan and Catherine (Walters) Getz.

She was a RN for Mercy Medical Center, Aultman Hospital, House of Loretto and Canton Drop Forge, serving over 20 years.

Mardell was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Mardell is survived by husband, David Maser, sons, Douglas (Joan), Mark (Anne), and Drew (Laurie); daughter, Paulette (Mark) Krisher; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Mertes and Mary Louise Gould.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Dr. NW, Canton at 12:00 PM with Rev. Donald King celebrant.

Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
