Margaret (Peg) Elvina Coverdale, age 90, passed away at The Laurels of Massillon early morning October, 30, 2023. She was born September 10, 1933, in Butler, Pennsylvania, and grew up in West Sunbury,  Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of Albert Garth Mackey and Edith Viola (Schell) Mackey Brown. She came to Massillon, Ohio in 1950 and worked at Isalys, Young's IGA, Supercenter, A & D Foodarama, Briner's, Morton's, and the latest, Walmart. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters,  Elinor Beck, Dorothy Callen, Charlotte Brown, Leona Barnes, brothers, Charles  Mackey, Donald Mackey, and son-in-law, Dennis Groff. She is survived by her children, Rodney (Billie) Coverdale of Ravenna, Ohio, Kathy Groff, Timothy Coverdale, Linda (Glenn) Goe and Brian Coverdale, all of Massillon, Ohio.  She is also survived by grandchildren, Richard Plavka, Peggy Coverdale, Rodney Jr. and Leonard Coverdale, Hunter and Austin Coverdale, Denise (Wes) Yamashige and Michael (Samantha) Groff, Mitchell Coverdale, and Samuel Goe; and several great-grandchildren. Per her request, no services will be held.  Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio
