Margaret Mary Knouff, age 88, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at Amherst Meadows.

She was born April 9, 1927 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Howard D. and Mary L. (Schmidt) Knouff.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Roland Knouff; and sister, Noreen Hoffman; and nephew, Michael Knouff.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Margaret better known to her family as Sis was her family's favorite babysitter and aunt.  Loved by children, she watched over two generations of nieces and nephews.  Kind, sweet, and fun to be with she was humble, non-judgmental, and loving.

In addition to spending time with family she enjoyed charity work, making candy, canning, and board games.

She will be deeply missed by her family, and is survived by sisters-in-law, Rita and Mona Knouff and all her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 24 from 9:30 AM to 10:40 AM at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, just prior to the service.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at St Joseph Catholic Church at 11AM with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.

Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, in Massillon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Joseph's St. Vincent dePaul Society.
