Margaret Tennis, 82 of Jackson Township, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 2, 1933 in Louisville the daughter of the late John and Mary (Suciu) Dumitru.
She graduated from Timken High School and was a majorette in the Timken Band.
Margaret worked at I.G. Harmon Co. in Canton, Lawrence Dykes Goodenberger, Architects where she met her husband of 52 years, Paul.
She was active in St. George Romanian Orthodox Church in Canton, serving on the church council, Sunday school, and catering.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Ann Tennis (2008).
Margaret is survived by her husband, Paul Tennis of Jackson Twp.; sister, Helen Zovath of Florida; daughter, Mary Margaret (Brian) Russo of Jackson Twp.; grandson, Brandon.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at St. George Romanian Orthodox Church, 144 30th St NW, Canton from 10 AM to 11AM.  Funeral Services to follow at the Church at 11AM with Rev. Fr. Ionel Satnoianu officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Romanian Orthodox Church.
