Marilyn Riese, age 79, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was born December 15, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Emma (Fracker) Bryan. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.  Marilyn loved her faith, loved her Lord and loved her family. She is survived by husband of 60 years, Richard Riese; daughter, Kimmi (Jim) Goff; sons, Rich (Tina) Riese Jr., Rob (Laura) Riese; grandchildren, Cody, Robbie, Holly, Renee, AJ, Kaylee, Cami, Sydnee, Kaydee, and Gracie; brother Jim (Janet) Bryan; and sister, Carol Evans. She was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Bryan. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon. Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon at 10:30 A.M. with The Very Rev. Fr. Matthew Mankowski celebrant. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Barbara Catholic Church.
