Marjorie R. Hill, age 86 of Canton, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Aultman Hospital. She was born June 6, 1935, in Grove City, PA the daughter of the late Alvin and E. Geraldine (Hoffman) Grace. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock State College and obtained her Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University. Marjorie retired from Canton City Schools after 32 years of service as a kindergarten teacher. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, New England Garden Club, and Stark County Retired Teacher's Association. Marjorie is survived by two nieces, Rachel Wilburn and Laurel Maffei; sister-in-law, Mary Jean Grace; and 3 great-nephews along with many loving friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hill; brother Charles A. Grace; and sister, Vivian I. Grace A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 127 Cherry Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11am.  The family will receive friends half hour prior to the service at the church from 10:30am to 11am. Burial to follow the service at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
