Marjorie C. ( McGuire) Halter, age 93, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Affinity Hospital.

She was born January 23, 1922, in Massillon,  daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Schuhriemen) McGuire.

Marjorie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rosary Altar Society, Ladies Catholic Benovelent Association and Massillon Senior Center.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Naomi Halter, daughter Kathleen Morgan all of Massillon daughter and son-in-law Janet and Robert E. Lee of Canton; sisters Mary Jo Thomas and Patricia Oliver of Massillon, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John (Conroy) Halter in 1995, and six brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on  Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6 to 9 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 1 P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. John Tully celebrant.

Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital,  501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN  38105-1942.
