Marlene C. Ellis, age 79 of Navarre, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Danbury Senior Living.
She was born September 15, 1938, in Massillon the daughter of the late Sylvester and Helen (O'Donnel) Laughlin.
Marlene retired from Massillon City Hospital where she was a technician in the ER and Surgery Departments.  Previously she had worked at First Merit Bank.
She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.
Marlene is survived by children, Todd (Jane Sharish) Ellis, Chad Ellis, Terri Ellis; four grandchildren, Reed (Tiffany) Brown III, Lauren Ellis, Zach Ellis, Troy Ellis; great-grandchildren, Rielle Brown, Liviana Brown, Ashton Ellis, and Peyton Ellis; two brothers, Larry Laughlin, Kenny Laughlin; sister, Stephanie Miller.
She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Ellis; an infant daughter; sister, Joanne Weiner; and brother, Tom Laughlin.
As per her wishes no services will be held.
Her final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
