Mary Curlutu, 89, of Massillon passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born in Canton on February 3, 1936, to the late Simon Sr. and Flora Curlutu (Maku).
Mary enjoyed getting her hair done, painting her nails, makeup, shopping, collecting magazines, Christmas, music, lunch dates, and visits with her brother Simon. Every day was Mary's birthday, and she was never a day over 45 years old! She was strong, fierce, and loved by many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 7 brothers George, Benjamin, Rudolph, Adam, Andrew, Steven, and Gerald. She is survived by brothers Simon Jr. & Daniel, a host of nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Midwest Family of Companies for your long-term devoted care and love for Mary. All of you are appreciated! Also, a special mention to all her housemates/friends she's had throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, Massillon at 11AM.  Friends will be received an hour prior to the service from 10AM to 11AM.

Her final place of rest will be at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
