Mary "Frances" Koch, age 91 of Massillon passed from this life on earth on December 2, 2013 to begin her new life with the Lord.

Frances was a 1940 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She had worked at Massillon Community Hospital and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and spending time with family and friends

. Frances had a caring spirit and was adored and loved by many and will be greatly missed by her daughter Kathryn (Arthur) Herman, grandchildren Brian and Greg Herman all of Canton, daughter Deborah (Glenn) Ito of Torrance, CA, nephews Patrick Hintz of Randolph, NJ, and John Hintz of Venice, FL and her dearest friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Koch who died in 1986 and sister Catherine Hintz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. At Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
