Mary Louise Marable, age 95, of North Canton, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Danbury Senior Living. She was born December 10, 1926, in Massillon, Ohio and was a 1944 graduate of Massillon Washington High School.  She attended Wittenberg College and graduated from Malone College. Mary Louise retired from Canton City Schools.   She was named Teacher of the Year. She was a member of Community Christian Church of North Canton, College Club of Canton, Canton Woman's Club, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Wittenberg College, Timken Mercy Service League and Hoover Historical Center. Mary Louise loved to knit, vacation in the Outer Banks, her dachshunds, and breeding them. Most of all, she loved her family. Mary Louise is survived by daughters, Sue (Bob) Hessman, Jane "Bunny" Marable, and Nancy Marable; grandchildren, Billy (Jena) and Michael Hessman, Ferris and Kerges Nimen; great-grandchildren, Charley Marlea Hessman, Liam Mickel; her dog, Coco; and special friends, Linda and Ron Tvorik, Laura, Jonathan, Christina, LJ, and Carli.  She loved her many friends, too many to mention. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Justine (Kammer) Kerges and husband William C. Marable, Jr.

*There will be a memorial service on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Community Christian Church, 210 N. Main St, North Canton, Oh 44720 at 11:30 AM.

The burial was private. Her final place of rest will be Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Christian Church, 210 N Main St, North Canton, OH 44720, or Stark County Humane Society, P. O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio  44705.
