Mary J. Stark, age 61 of Jackson Twp., passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2016.

She had worked as a surgical tech at Akron Children's Hospital for many years. She returned to school and received her Associates Degree in Business Management. She was employed by Bank One as a loan processing manager until 2001 and then became a domestic engineer. She was an expert at crocheting, knitting and cross stitch. Mary enjoyed motorcycle riding, lighthouses and her fur babies.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas D. Stark of Jackson Twp., daughter and son-in-law Nichole and Brandon Lovejoy of Ashland, son Thomas D. Stark of Jackson Twp., grandchildren, Chelsea Lovejoy and Logan Lovejoy, Lilly Stark, great-granddaughter, Kali Brinker, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Barb Hood, brothers-in-laws, David Stark and Bill Stark and mother-in-law Evelyn Stark.

A Celebration of Life Gathering to follow at a later date. Friends and family will be notified.
