Maryann Smith, age 73 of Massillon, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by family on April 7, 2013. She was born November 1, 1939 in Massillon, Ohio to Raymond and Inez (Agnus) Simon.

Maryann is survived by her husband, Jack Smith of 56 years; sons, Jack (Tina) Smith, Jeff Smith; daughter, Diane (Jeff) Parker; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Linda) Simon; sister, Clara Hoskinson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Donna Kiste. The family wishes to thank the Senior Independence Hospice staff who helped her family get through this very difficult time in their lives. In honoring Mayann's wishes there will be no funeral services.
