Maurice J. Willey, 79 of Jackson Twp. passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born June 24, 1937 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Maurice and Louise (Cafaro) Willey.

Maurice was a guidance counselor and teacher for 40 years retiring in 1999.

He was a member of the Paterson Education Association, Passaic County Education Association, New Jersey Education Association, and Nation Education Association.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and David LaMothe, Helen and Richard Belli; grandchildren, David and William LaMothe, Richard and Rachel Belli.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Willey.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Heitger Funeral Home Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Rd NW, from 1pm to 5pm.

His final resting place will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
