Maurine McFee, age 91 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Danbury Senior Living. She was born May 24, 1930, in Brundidge, AL, the daughter of the late George and Tinnie Matthews. Maurine was a retired waitress. She loved gardening and spending time in her backyard.  She was a talented artist and very creative. Maurine is survived by five daughters, Regina McNutt, Renee (Kenneth) Lung-Hetrick, Rechell (Mickey) Manack, Remona Brannan, Reina (Tim) Brannan; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; brother-in-law, Ronald Smith; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Jerald McFee; granddaughter, Sara; sons-in-law, Jim McNutt, Jim Lung, Terry Brannan; three brothers and two sisters. A small family gathering at the graveside will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
