Max 'Pete' Snyder Jr., age 78 of Jackson Twp., died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

He was born January 4, 1935 in New Philadelphia, the son of the late Max Sr. and Helen Lucille (Beans) Snyder.

He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #190.

He retired from Pete Snyder Plumbing after 45 years of service.

Pete is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy (Daniels) Snyder; children, Jeffrey (Cindy) Snyder of Zenia, Cindy Snyder (Reed Brown) of Massillon, Daniel (Barbara) Snyder of Massillon, Kelly (David) Cain of Massillon; brother-in-law, Don Jacobs; sister-in-law, Suzanne Heichel; and seven grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Stephanie, Nicole, Justin, Jared, and Sam; one great-grandchild, Dante.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Jacobs.

A celebration of Pete's life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Heitger Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Jackson on at 7pm. Visitation will be held one hour before from 6pm - 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pete's name to Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
