Maxine Louise Nickels, age 90, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Laurels Of Massillon.

She was born August 11, 1925 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, and had been a resident of Massillon for the past 30 years.

She was a homemaker, a member of Faith Community Fellowship and enjoyed reading.

Maxine is survived by daughters Lee (Duane) Tucker of Columbia, TN, Penny (John) Rebrey of Akron, and Cindi (Tim) Kulla of Massillon, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded by daughter Patsy Jill Palmer, brothers Harry and Gary Briggs, parents Blair Briggs and Edith (Lewis) Briggs.

Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11 at Heitger Funeral Home -  Jackson Chapel with Dr. David Kimberly officiating.

Burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio.
