Maycle Marie Campbell, age 83 of Massillon, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at Rose Lane Care Facility.

She was born March 16, 1943, in Athens.

Maycle was a loving housewife and mother.

She loved reading, bingo, crocheting, and taking pictures “recording memories”.

Maycle is survived by her children, Gary Campbell (Deb Lyons), Christine Schoen (Rob Renner), Doreena Campbell (Trent Butzer), Brenda Campbell, Ruthie (James) Cottrell; Jamie (Jessie) Lawrence; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Violet and Rose.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Campbell Sr; mother, Naomi (McNutt) Brooks; father, Arley (Leta) Brooks; brothers, Arley and Ed; daughter-in-law, Bess Campbell; son-in-law, Brian Schoen; and great-granddaughter, Elaria Auerielle Campbell.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, Massillon at 11 AM with Rev. Dale Smith officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at 10 AM to 11 AM.

Her final place of rest will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
