Mayfrey Arie Greene, age 90, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Altercare Of Navarre following a lengthy illness.

She was born September 8, 1923 in Given, WV, the daughter of the late, Nathan and Bertha Ann (Sargent) Casto.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning, quilting, camping, caring for her animals, and spending time with her family.

Mayfrey is survived by son, David D. Greene; daughters, Peggy Ann Buttermore, Pamela A. Stackhouse, Pauletta J. Arnold; grandchildren, Crystal A. Gardner, Shannon J. Greene, Matthew L. Brumfield, Jason A. Brumfield, Jeremiah C. Brumfield, Eric L. Stackhouse, Richard J. Stackhouse, Steven D. Stackhouse; 6 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, 21 great-step grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Casto, Ermine Casto; sisters, Katherine Richardson, Freda Pignato, and Judy Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Junior Greene; brothers, Arden Casto, Letcher Casto, Victor Casto.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 14 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE,.

Funeral Services will follow at 2:30PM with Rev. Cecil Thayer officiating.

Burial at Newman Creek Cemetery in N. Lawrence, Ohio.
