Michael J. Dragomir passed away peacefully Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the age of 79.
Preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Octavian "Toby" Dragomir and sister-in-law, Karen (Scheurer) Marku.
Survived by wife, Lynn (Scheurer) Dragomir, daughter, Paula (Dan) Russell; son, Mike Dragomir; granddaughters, Myka (Julie) Russell, Jessica Dragomir (fiancé Zachary); and sister, Marianna Evans. Mike was also beloved brother-in-law to Chuck (Judy) Scheurer, Dave (Linda) Scheurer, Kenny (Beth) Scheurer, Rosemary Scheurer, Susan (John) Foradas, and Carol Scheurer.
He also leaves behind numerous relatives and close friends.
Even though Mike was a quiet and private person, he was a loving husband and wonderful father, unassuming, very giving, and willing to offer advice when asked.
He was a veteran serving with the Navy. Mike retired after 45 years at Park Centre Lanes and in the off season resurfaced bowling lanes across the country.
Mike was a 1989 inductee of the Canton Amateur Sports Bowling HOF for his numerous awards, accomplishments and mentorship, sharing his vast knowledge of the game. Mike also enjoyed golfing and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Per Mike's wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services.
His final place of rest will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
