Mildred "Betty"  Etter, age 85, of North Lawrence, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Brewster Parke. She was born April 25, 1939, in Canton, the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred  (Farwick) Landor. Betty graduated from Central Catholic High School and Timken Mercy School of Nursing.  She was a register nurse and had worked at Massillon Community Hospital and Timken Mercy.  She enjoyed having lunch and playing cards with her nurse retiree friends. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish-St. Barbara Campus where she performed in the "Madrigal" for many years.

Betty enjoyed watching her grandchildren play various sporting events. Betty  is survived by sons, Steve Etter, Tom (Lisa) Etter, Mark (Ruthanne) Etter; daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Huston, Julie (Todd) Frascone; thirteen grandchildren; and  thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Etter, two sisters, and one brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on TUESDAY, January 14, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Divine Mercy - St. Barbara Campus. Calling hours will be held at the church prior to the Mass from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Burial to follow the service in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Divine Mercy Parish. Condolences to the family may be made here on our tribute wall.
