Miriam Elaine (Ziegler) Nee Gerhardt Mull, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Canton Regency. She was born September 19, 1926, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Frank L. and Annetta E. Nee (Shannon) Gerhardt.

She was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and was a seamstress at the former Parisian. She received a certificate from Dalton Mill and taught sewing for over 30 years.

Miriam is survived by her devoted loving husband of 37 years Garnett Mull of Canton, children, Janet (Mel) Nee Ziegler Hanacek, William A. (Marisa) Ziegler Jr., David A. (Vera) Ziegler, A. Paul (Eileen) Ziegler, nine grandchildren, Gregory Ziegler, Michele Bebbington, Matthew Mikuluk, Jacqueline Ziegler, Natasha Ziegler, Patricia Ziegler, A. J. Ziegler, David Ziegler Jr., Trent Ziegler, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Mark Gerhardt Ziegler who died in 2004, former husband, William A. Ziegler who died in 2008, brother, Frank Raymond Gerhardt and sisters, Gloria Hube, Mildred Walter and Elizabeth Van Newkirk and great-grandson Matthew.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel with Rev. Dave Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
