Nelda Jean Sago, age 77 of Jackson Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born October 18, 1939, in East Rainelle, WV the daughter of the late Orrville and Mary (Russell) Gipson. Nelda retired from Massillon State Hospital after 27 years of service. She had attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed shopping, sewing, country music, Wii bowling, gambling, and crafts.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her pets. Nelda is survived by two daughters, Denise (Randy) Crownoble, Renee (Jake) Cantor; Brother, Carl Gipson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Sago Sr. and son, Edward J. Sago Jr. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017,  at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW,  at 11 AM with Rev. Raymond Paul officiating. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday two hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM. Burial to follow the service at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in Canton.
