Norma E. Ertle, age 92, of Massillon passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 following a short illness.

She was born October 15, 1918 in Akron and was daughter of the late William H. and Esther (Kimmell) Boker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn P. Ertle who died in 1994, two brothers and one sister.

She retired from Briner's Drugs where she was a bookkeeper for over 28 years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and enjoyed her family and sewing.

Norma is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Cindy Ertle and Dave and Michelle Ertle all of Massillon, five grandchildren Tim (Brittney) Ertle, Corey (Tiffany) Ertle, Nicole (Tim) Dawson, Traci (Andy) Baumann and Davy Ertle and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel with Pastor Jeff Shultz officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
